I'm Keri and my almost 2.5 yr old boy is Tao. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern CA with my Aunt and her almost 3 yr old boy kitty, Pudd. Tao and Pudd are BFFs (thank goodness!)
Tao and I moved in with my Aunt and Pudd, in March of this year. For the past year and a half Tao has been coming to this house for play time and safe keeping while I was gone for extended amounts of time. Tao is definitely not a quiet laid back kind of guy..... he is Mr. Purrsonality and filled with CATitude! He is totally a 'you're not the boss of me' kind of kitty...... while at the same time will totally let you (well me) do whatever to him, without too much fuss. Everything is his business and there is ALWAYS a way! He also is a people kitty and will follow you around wherever you go, liking to be wherever you are.
Some history on him is that he was found at about 4 weeks old in a driveway...... most likely Mom was moving the litter and he got 'dropped' and then 'rescued' before she could come back to get him. Tao came home to me around 10 weeks old. We were a family of myself, a 14 year old large retriever girl, and Tao. As I said previously, he would frequently go visit my Aunt and her about the same age cat, Pudd. Tao is an indoor kitty with occasional, supervised, on lead, outdoor adventures.
Tao is my first Kitty in about 25 years......
