How do I love her- let me count the ways-

The milk beard after Bottele feeding

The piglet way she eats her kitty mush

The incessant purring like an ancient motor

The baby like cries just to be held into arms-

If I keep all the cats I rescue- that would make me a hoader- an animal hoarder!

But if you already have a wonderful cat that's agressive to other animals and this Baby was only a rescue foster kitten baby- how do you stay logical-

Look at the face!!
Not sure i will be ready to say goodbye to this Beany baby:(
I dread it everyday:(

Just remember that all of your love and care is for the cat. If you have too many, you couldn't possibly give attention that it might have elsewhere with less of a "hoard". How many cats do you have?

Oh my heart!  Just like kids, they grow up and find new homes.  Remember your job is to give them the skills they need to be successful house kitties.

She is a cutie and you are doing the right thing preparing her for her new home.  Hard as it is, it is the best path.

Cuteness Overload!!!!!!! :thud: What a little doll :thud: - beanie baby for sure. Really, hun, IF we kept all of our rescues then we would not have room to "rescue".... It is VERY VERY hard to let them go, but this little one will find a good and loving home. You are her lifeline stepping stone to her forever home. :heart3: That is the way I look at it. All my best to this little cutie and keep us posted on her!! :vibes::vibes::vibes:

I have one baby- a 17 pounder mask and mantle tuxedo
And a mamma feral I'm spaying this week and releasing her back into the community - he have an association here that feeds and traps neuters. He have quite a few neighborhood cats.

Just finished rescuing a colony of 4 kittens all now happily adopted.
So for now I technically have 3 >^..^^..^^..^

I don't know if I could ever foster. Well, I can't because of my work schedule, and lack of space, but aside from that, I'm sure I'd fall in love with all of them too.

It's interesting reading this today, because last night I found the Facebook post from the people I got our second kitty from.  The woman who fostered her was writing about how she was in tears letting her go, but knew she was going to her Furever home.

And, she certainly has.  I always thank her when I see her for taking in this gorgeous cat who somehow wound up on the streets, A cat so passive and sweet she surely would not have survived well for long.  Her and the rescue group got her healthier, spayed and a bit more mentally adjusted so by the time we adopted her, with just a little more time, patience and loving care on our part, she blossomed.

So, thank you for the work you do, and know that those of us who receive the gift of your care are so very grateful.

I commend you for your foster care and rescue work. Such a need. :hugs: It is really tough for me as a foster mom and I have not done it since my last two, whom I kept. :heart3: Walden and Wendall :heart3: The hardest part of fostering kitties is saying goodbye. :( And, sometimes, we find it impossible to do so. Remember you are saving lives because without foster homes more animals have to be euthanized. Remember the goal - to help foster cats find loving, forever homes. Celebrate the successful adoptions!!!:clap::clap::clap::clap: And, don't feel guilty fi things don't go as planned, animals are resilient and adaptable. I wish you all the best as you continue to find loving, permanent homes for all of those kittens and cats. :thanks: :hugs:

Thank you and all the open hearted people that give these little furry angels a chance at life and a loving home!

I'm not sure i will be able to part with her- we've become very close and almost inseparable- my House Kitty seems to be warming up to her so if I'm able to keep her - it would be a real miracle- either way - she will have a wonderful forever home>^.,.^

What fostering allowed me to discover about myself is that even though I knew I was a very loving and generous person- and have always cared for and loved those in need - animals and people- I has no idea I could truly love so deeply, generously and with all of my heart! I discovered I have boundless love for animals- and the love they give back is ... Priceless!
This is wonderful and so true. Fostering comes full circle and teaches much about ourselves along the way. It warms my heart to hear such things. :heart3: :clap:
