Hi everyone.
I'm Mellie, and right now my husband and 2 little girls proudly have two cats in our home.
This is Lilly (3 years). We adopted her from the RSPCA about 9 weeks ago. She had been a stray when they found her, but had a microchip. When her owners were contacted they didn't want her. They'd thrown her out and that's why she was a stray. When we first got her she was so starved for both love and food. She spent the first week hiding from us and only coming out to eat and use the litter tray. Even now she is still very shy and won't often come for love and cuddles. She dislikes all toys and can't see the fun in them and hates anyone who gets too close to her face. She is a very sweet cat though and so pretty.

This is Shadow. We adopted him from The Lost Dogs Home last Friday. He is super friendly and super fluffy. He made himself right at home as soon as we bought him in. He's only 18 months so still very playful. Loves to play with feathery toys. He seems to have adopted my youngest daughter (she's almost 4) as his favourite. He sleeps in bed with her. Stretched out they are almost the same size! We don't know much about his past but he seems to be a happy little fellow. Bit of a fussy eater but that's not really too much of an issue as we are flexible with meeting his needs.
