And I don't just mean your cats, lol...

Have you, or someone else, ever made a mistake behind the wheel that should of caused a big accident, but was miraculously spared by perfect reaction timing?

Is there someone you know, that is like having a guardian angel you can always count on to be there for you?

Absolutely! I've had some pretty interesting things happen in my life that the only explanation for them could possibly be a guardian angel of some sort.

Some of the scariest incidents I've ever brushed with death were while driving a car. And 2 of them happened the exact same way! I was driving at a normal speed on a rural route & just as approaching close to a road on the right, a car pulled out in front of me, so I was headed right into the driver's door with no time to stop... split second to either hit them or swerve into oncoming traffic on other side of road! By the grace of God, no other car was coming at that moment, or I would have had no choice but to T-bone that driver in front of me.... And strangely enough- the same scenario happened again, maybe a decade later!

Yup, I definitely do. At least in some form or another, if not "traditional" angels.

I won't go into great details or give out a list of long stories, but, I will mention one very personal experience. I was recovering at home after one of my surgeries (After a couple of weeks I was allowed to go home, though I still had cathaters and felt) it was nighttime, and this really sweet and gentle older woman was in my bedroom with me, comforting me. I wasn't sure how she got in, she just appeared, and didn't even think of it really. I wasn't scared at all or anything, just felt very calm and content. She eventually left. I didn't recgonize who it was at the time.  When my parents were later informed, they had never noticed a woman suddenly entering or leaving the small one story house. Afterwards, based on the descriptions of what I've seen of her, and later matching it exactly with pictures and my dad's personal physical knowledge of his own mother, I discovered that she was my grandmother, who had pass away some 20 years before I was born. Her and I also look a like too.

I never met her, but I love her very very much, and appreciate her.

Then there are many smaller incidents, Example: of my parents was driving alone in the city, and suddenly heard a "Turn left" in her ear. My mom did so at upcoming lights, and we later found out there was a major accident that had occured in the opposite direction five minutes after her turning the other way.

I had a friend of a friend, who is a psychic, tell me that my guardian angel is a woman with long blonde hair. I find it interesting and a pleasant thought, yet while there are probably some few psychics that are legit out there, I would still be wary with this fact, so not sure if this is true or not. But I reckon it might be worth mentioning! I don't know who it could be, I tried looking - I'm half-Finnish, and there are plenty of blondes in my family past and present haha I myself am a natural blonde with long hair.

Yes I do. I have had several experiences, but I will share here the most powerful one which I will never forget. My dad was 91. He had a good mind up until the end when he got sick. He was in a nursing home. We got a call on Friday morning that Dad was at the end of his life. Hubby and I were fishing. But we came home, got ready and went to the nursing home. Both sisters and a brother in law were there already. Dad was not in a state where he knew anything that we could tell. Of course you never know what they can hear. We stayed all day. That night hubby and brother in law went home. My sisters and I stayed in the room. The hospice nurse told us some signs to look for in his feet and legs that would let us know his life was leaving him. All day we would talk to him with no sign of response. We stayed all day again with no response from Dad. That night my brother in law had left. Hubby was sitting at the end of the bed. One sister was on Dad's left. One sister was next to his head on his right and I was standing beside him. Sisters were singing Jesus Loves Me to him. His eyes opened and you could tell he recognized us. His mouth formed the words and tried to say I Love You. He looked up at the ceiling to his extreme right. He never turned his head, but his eyes shifted all the way to the left. He was watching something or someone and when his eyes moved all the way to the left, he breathed his last breath and left. It was very peaceful and the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. My Dad was a Christian. I believe that an angel or some heavenly being that he knew escorted his spirit from this world to the next one. We are very thankful for that experience as we believe he is in Heaven now with Jesus.

I wrote about angels here 4 years ago, after my father passed away and my sister Linda was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer (both in the same week). To save me from writing it out again, here's the link:

(My sister passed away 2 years ago. :heart3: )
Thanks for the link, SwampWitch! That was a very intriguing account- I had never heard of witnessing people look to the left, before they appeared to be seeing "someone" waiting to escort them away from their body. I completely believe we have a soul just temporarily housed inside us, and it will begin a new journey at the moment we take our last breath.. The controversy is just where that is... and the decisions about our faith we made before the time of departure, make all the difference.

I'm not sure if this is an angel story, but I think it's related.

My mom and her best friend came to visit me (and France) when I was doing a study abroad in France. They stayed ten days or two weeks, something like that. The last two days we were staying in Paris. I was going to stay in the hotel one additional night to explore the city before going back to school. It was a pain booking the reservation. Every time we confirmed that it was three people for two nights, and one additional night for just one person, they kept getting it wrong as three people for three nights. I went with them to the airport the morning they were leaving, and watched them go.

Later, on the train into Paris proper (the Charles de Gaulle airport is in a suburb), I suddenly had this terrible feeling that the plane had crashed and that my mom had died. It was very convincing and I almost went back to the airport, but then realized that if she was dead, there was nothing I could do about it. Incidentally, the thought of my mom's death is one of my greatest fears, even though I know she will probably die before me. Still, it scares the heck out of me, so I suppose it was natural for me to try to deny what I felt.

Well, when I was done in Paris, I went back to the hotel, and my hotel key didn't work. This was strange, but then I heard my mom's voice. She said she'd broken her knee and that she'd be to the door soon, as Bonnie (her friend) was asleep. I thought that my initial feeling was right: that the plane had crashed, but that instead of killing my mom, it had just injured her. In fact, what had happened was that an older lady had been in front of her on an inclined walking sidewalk, and had lost her balance. My mom tried to brace her fall, but instead, the woman ended up accidentally breaking my mom's ACL as she fell into it.

The weird parts are that feeling I got, but also the fact that, indeed, there were three of us for three nights, as the hotel staff had kept insisting when we were making and confirming our reservation. To this day, I still get shivers when I think of that.

I believe in angels and guardian angels.  I don't have any specific dramatic incidents but I have made a lot of big mistakes in life.  The kind of mistakes that leaves many people in a very bad place  but it has worked out for me.  Kind of like that old saying about protecting idiots, that's me.  I know I have had help with money in the past.  No matter how tight money was somehow when a big necessary expense came along, as it always does, I have had the money for it.

There's no doubt in my mind that angels exist, as this is explicitly confirmed in the Holy Bible. So are fallen angels (demons) which is always something to keep in mind, if one is fully convinced angels are among us! And let's face it, there are a whole lot of dangers that we just didn't "happen" to of been spared from, if you think back as I do, over my life. We are here for a certain purpose- a journey in which to sort out our own place & meaning of existence. Not to mention, humans are spiritual beings by nature. Just on a different plain than the supernatural so we don't see all that's really going on in the spirit realm. I get a lot of comfort in knowing I have a guardian angel- and look forward to seeing him when its time to move on... :)

I agree with the money too!  I have given my last money for my neighbors to get gas and then something will come our way either a bank error/something clearing or mom will stop by unplanned or SOMETHING.

My mom passed out and a lady helped her I know there is more to story but she was always sure it was angel.

I have been right time right place many times to either help someone(like day I dropped of my dog for spay and helped a few older ladys who were each drpping off a few cats each.  cane and wobbly walk.  I feel so lucky to have been there to help.  I usually show up right at opening but was "late" due to taking wrong turn going down few roads coming back out and being a bit angry as I like to get there first.

My only real thing I think of now is some one MUST be watching when I go to the er with a cat.  last one was BAD I was 8 weeks or so pregnant dizzy as heck and 10 pm. he was hit by car and in lot of pain but calm  I was oddly at ease on drive there and back and had a bit more vision then I normally have at night.

I hope and believe there are angels and guarding angels watching out for us. My father passed away 1995 and when my husband & I were in a car wreck in 2008 ( he had a seizure driving) I hope to think my father was watching out for us.
