Does anyone have any recent experience in patella luxation in cats? My 1 1/2 yr old tabby/mainecoon rescue has a bilateral problem. Orthopedic vet recommends surgery at 2 separate times costing about $4,000. He says its due to a developmental deformity and will only get worse. I've read previous posts and was hoping to get any updates. Long recovery time as well. Has anyone's cat had this surgery and what was the outcome? Thanks!!
