Hi all.
So happy I've discovered your site. Last night I found a very severely emaciated Persian cat on the street outside my home. She is so poorly that she didn't even try to move when cars drove directly beside her. I thought she'd been hit but was gladly mistaken. So, now she's in my 1st floor bathroom separated from my other 2 adult cats.
I soaked the adult food I have on hand and she has been very, very slowly eating small amounts which I thought was good - I know she shouldn't eat room much too quickly. Other than the water in the food I've only seen her drink water but once.
My biggest concern at this moment is that she has yet to urinate. I'm worried about organ damage from her ordeal. I'm not in a position to be able to take her to a vet
Ant advice that could help her is welcomed. I'd planned on purchasing some wet kitten food for her today but I'm uncertain if that's too rich at this time. I truly hope she will begin to turn around soon!
