We got a cat tree this weekend. The hope is that Angel will use it to survey her domain and leave Peanut alone. This is Angel on the tree...
And Peanut.
It has nice big shelves which is why we picked it. Funny thing is neither will go on the top shelf and neither will go in the tube below. But I got to touch Angel at night without her hissing at me so it's worth it even if only one level gets used. :)

EXcellent!

I've had success spraying with Feliway to get cats to use their beds/trees.

Ours has catnip in it so I have no problem getting them on it. The problem is the both want the same shelf. lol. I'm trying a blanket on the top level. Angel is a big blanket cat and Peanut prefers carpet.

They have been tolerating each other at night since we got it. Peanut can go in the living room now at night as long as one of them is on the tree. They just can't both be on the floor. Weird. What's also odd is that Angel will now let me pet her at night if she's on the tree. If she's not she still runs from me when I walk past. Peanut is the opposite. He loves me to death unless he's in the tree. If I try to pet him when he's on the tree he scolds me and swats at me.

Completely opposite. At least they are not fighting at night anymore. Headed in the right direction.
