Hi all. My cat Boxer has recently been put on a prescription diet for constipation and prevention of a reoccurrence of bladder stones. He seems to really enjoy the new food (both dry and wet) but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get it cheaper than the vet. Thanks!

I just Googled it and found a lot of places it is available. Chewy.com, Wag.com and pet360.com are the cheapest ones that I see. You need to look it up for yourself for a better idea of the prices in your area.

Just be aware, though, that you will probably still need a prescription to buy it, even if you buy via the internet.  If you have a Petsmart near you, one that has a Veterninary Clinic inside it, they usually sell the Hlll's Prescription Diets as well, and you DEFINITELY need a prescription there.  Just have your Vet write one up to take with you.

Just curiosity. What is in them that requires a prescription? I have never had to use any of them and am not up on reasons.
