we have her on kmr kitten formula and I was just wanting to know when she can start to eat wet food. I've seen 4 weeks and 5 weeks. I want a good answer, please help.

It can really be anywhere between 4 and 8 weeks, feel her gums regularly and when you notice baby teeth give her the pate style wet food that has been liquidized with a fair amount of KMR or water. We did that with our current kitten Leo and when our other two, Nova and Galaxy, were kittens. Good luck!

I have a litter of 4 1/2 week old kittens at the moment. They started becoming interested in momma cat's food at 3 weeks (that's when I moved her food up on the bed, where the kittens can't get it). I introduced them to food at about 3 1/2 weeks. It was very diluted, mostly water. Now they are eating the wet food with just a dab of water and some milk replacer mixed in, they get this 2x per day (and of course they still nurse). When you introduce the new food, take a little dab on your finger and wipe it under the kitten's lip. This way he will lick his lips and become familiar with the taste, and he will probably start to eat the food off your fingers, but it will take some time before he figures out how to eat off a plate (took mine just under a week to figure it out).

Also, if you're going to introduce wet food, this would also be a good time to introduce the litter box :)
