Wednesday I heard about someone who had found a kitten who had came to her house once before, and couldn't get anyone to claim him, her daughter is allergic so he couldn't come in the house, I offered to come pick him up and see what I could do... I am glad that I did... the poor guy is sick and must have been chilly, lonely and sick.

This is him the night I went and picked him up. Poor guy

This is him today :)

He's still sick but I believe he's on his road to recovery... Fingers crossed!!!  I've got him on anti-biotics and the best medicine - some TLC. I contacted the Rescue that I volunteer and fostered from before (he's only my second) and he should be getting a vet visit very soon :)

Have you had him tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia?  Not that his being positive would change your attitude toward him, but it might help you know exactly how to treat any problems he might have.

Awwwww, poor sweet baby. I'm so glad you rescued him!!  I hope he gets a good report from the vet as well. He's a cutie!

I think he has a rather relieved look on him. Some cats just seem to know when they've found a safe place.

Thank you everyone! :)

So... Let's begin by saying Ozzy is now Izzy! Since I was told SHE was a boy, I hadn't even bothered to look til today(silly me)... Total GIRL!!! Haha now I've gotta get used to saying "her"!

Now, Izzy got her vet visit today... She hadn't been making much improvement, I was worried and couldn't wait for the rescue to make an appointment so today I called in myself and she was NEGATIVE for leukemia!! :D she has a nasty upper respiratory infection and is very congested... Have her on new antibiotics and once she's cleared up, she can get her shots, flea meds and be de wormed... They told me if she isn't showing any improvements by Monday then to give them a call.

She is now exhausted and sleeping sound in her bed.
