We went to visit Parker today and he is doing soooo much better! He will be home in a few days. My roommate had been wanting to adopt a cat from the SPCA for a while now but the cat she was most interested in was taken to a new home yesterday.
Today, after seeing Parker, we went to Petcetera and saw they had 3 cats being adopted through the SPCA. A little black cat with a few tiny white spots on her side caught our attention. She came right over, climbed on me and licked my face. We decided she was the one, went to the shelter, filled out the paper work and brought her home.
She is 1 year old and named "Speckles" but we are changing it to Juno. She is soooooo cuddly and friendly. Not at all shy, either. She is here in the room with me, playing and looking around. Doesn't even want to hide.
Can't really see the white "Speckles" on her but I can't get her to stay still long enough to capture them.
