I'm not sure how new this food is but the pet store by me has just started carrying it. I picked up some cans because it looked to be a good food. Its Wild Calling. From what I see its made in the US which I like and its mostly meat and grain free which I also like.

My cats get mostly wet food and I was happy with the BG but I know they discontinued the line. I can still get it at some of the petstores so I stocked up on it especially the Turkey because thats pretty much all my siamese will eat. I like to give them a variety and the Wild calling has lots of different protiens Chicken, beef, rabbit, pheasant, duck and a few others. Of course my picky siamese turned his nose up but the others went crazy for it.

Just wanted some feed back on it. They also eat Merrick variety of different flavors except fish. I do give them a little kibble mainly my siamese because he wont eat much of the wet food not enough for my liking anyway. The others get some as a snack. Which is TOTW. I also will give them some raw.

There were a couple of threads discussing Wild Calling maybe a month or so ago. I am on my phone so can't post links but a search should turn them up. It looks like a good food from the ingredient lists. If I recall correctly, I think the only issue for some people was that it is manufactured by Evanger's.

What vball91 said is basically correct. Very good ingredient list, high in protein, low in carbs. It does have brewer's yeast. The big one though, is that Evanger's was contracted to manufacturer and can it. Evanger's has had several legal problems, one of which is the wrong protein being found in a batch of dog food. The other problems point to unethical business practices. They are being sued because the owners supposedly told workers to divert a fuel line before it hit the meter. There was a court case as a result, and now someone claims they tried to bribe the witness to change testimony. Several years ago they were cited for unsanitary plant conditions. One of the reports said something about flies and maggots.
