Urgent

My mother wants me to spray the whole basement with bug spray, I have a 9week old kitten running about. What is a safe bug spray to use? Will any spray do? Or will they hurt her I need to know ASAP

Most pesticides are NOT safe to use around pets. If the basement is going to be sprayed, remove the kitten and any of her stuff to a different room. Allow everything to dry completely (at least 24 hours probably) before allowing kitten access to the sprayed areas. You can research safer bug sprays for use around pets, but I still wouldn't spray one with the kitten anywhere nearby.

That's what I thought, I'm scared to have her anywhere near the stuff X_X

Thiers been lots of spiders lately, and my mum wants them all gone asap by spraying them.

I have heard of FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth used for fleas. I'm not sure the product you linked is food grade though. And I have no idea if it works on spiders. I hope some other members will have some safe suggestions for you. I've never used an insecticide indoors.

Ok, and yeah hopefully someone chimes in. I've been finding some nasty huge spiders that do need to eliminated. One bit my brother and he has a huge red lump on his arm from where he got bit!
