My Chinchillas

Just thought I would show off my four darling chinchillas.

The first guy is Pika (short for Pikachu). He's a VERY affectionate Standard Grey.

Once you meet a chinchilla, you are addicted for life. I PROMISE. lol

(Yeah, ok, I'm not used to trying to post pictures on this board yet..lol)

Then we've got Boo. She's our little Mosiac "drama queen".

Awww.How sweet.That pic makes me want to cry.I had a chin,but he died about 6 months ago.

Tux (short for Tuxedo) is a very loving, VERY friendly Ebony White.

And last, but definately not least, Mocha. She's a dark tan (possibly chocolate) girly.

I'm sorry to learn of your loss, it's amazing how these little things just steal your heart!

You have some pretty babies.
I would like to get another one,one of these days.

I feel so dumb.. what exactly is a Chinchilla? It looks kind of like a rabbit but then kind of like a mouse.

They are pretty cute though!

They are super cute, but I can't help wanting a coat made of them. I know that is the most evil thing I can post on a site where we all love animals. But one time I tried on a leather coat that was lined with their fun and I fell in love with it. I could live in that coat. I would never take it off.

A bit off topic, but a town near where I live is named Chinchilla... I guess they had a high chinchilla population at one time. (I haven't ever seen a tame, nevermind wild chinchilla though.)

They kinda look like a cross between a big hamster and a rabbit...LOL I have never petted an animal with softer fur. They are awesome I have seen them in a pet store before.
