Eden is a premie, she was bottle fed apparently by the people I got her from. Shes supposedly 6 months old (was spayed a month ago). I notice her bottom canines (fang teeth) finally fell out. However, I notice that they appear to be aiming right for her palate rather then the slot thats there for them. Her bite seems fine otherwise. Is this something I should worry about or will it correct itself? I can tell where they are aiming when her mouth is close and I lift up her gum. Maybe its just me worrying to much because I really cannot afford a dental bill with a new kitten needing to be spayed.

Hmm....they look okay to me, but I'm not experienced in kitten growth, so I can't say for sure. Would your vet be willing to just take a look at the photos and give you confirmation without an appointment?

I think bringing in your kitten for a vet check is the right thing to do. There are low-cost vet clinics and SPCA-run hospitals that do medical care at a lower cost. Your baby deserves a healthy start in life. Good luck...

I'm not sure I see any issue either.  And besides, if they aren't aligned right, it's not as if they're going to put braces on her.   You're talking about her bottom canines, right?  Which haven't started growing in yet?  And those top canines are still her baby teeth, aren't they?  I think you need to really wait until she has all her permanent teeth to see what's what, before you start worrying

Firstly, she has been seen by a vet 3 times. She is also spayed which I did last month. When she was in the vet last she had all her baby teeth still in. The top canines are baby teeth still. The bottom ones I am talking about are just pointing through but when her mouth is closed they are lining up to go right through the roof of her mouth

I still say "wait and see", because I believe your only option would be to have them pulled IF indeed they grow slanted and poke her in the roof of her mouth.  I can't see that in the pictures, but, of course, you can see it much better than I can.  They should grow in so they fill in that little cap in front of her upper canines.

IF they need to be pulled, it shouldn't really effect her much, since she's not a cat out in the wild.  Many cats end up having ALL their teeth pulled and do just fine

So although they appear to be growing into the roof of her mouth now they may growing outwards a bit and correct themselves? I hope so...I can try for a better pic later and post it here

I used a better camera setting to take these so hopefully they are clearer. See how the bottom canine tooth that is erupting is aiming for the roof of her mouth? The one in the first pic has already touching the roof of her mouth. Will they start to grow a bit out and up like how they are shaped?
