I have a 6 year old black fixed female
A year old domestic short hair male not fixed yet.
So I also have another female but I'm just taking care of her until this Friday where she going to the farm this kitten it's like 4 or 5 month old and ready to go..
Today I went to the vet to take my male cat for flea treatment and vaccination then a lady pops in with this female kitten is still learning to walk its around two weeks old..
So now my husband granny saw it and said another cat..
I told her I'm not keeping her neither is the farm cat
She does not believe me..
This ain't my house me my husband and my year old daughter are sharing it with her I can't afford to move so I'm stuck here with this annoying lady.
How can I proof to her that I'm not keeping this younger kittens..
I don't know if this true she says that cats are disease carrier that dogs are healthier my husband scoops the poop every morning and change every week...

Cats are actually very clean creatures and are no more likely to carry diseases than dogs. I don't how you're going to prove to her that you're not keeping the younger kittens until they are actually gone.

I do hope you get your male cat neutered soon. The 4 or 5 month old kitten is old enough to get pregnant any day now, so I am glad they are going to be separated. I do hope the farm kitties are also getting spayed/neutered.

Your mother-in-law is mistaken. Dogs actually carry & transmit more diseases to humans than cats do. Dogs have stronger systems so they do not get symptoms yet they can transmit infections to us, such as strep throat, bubonic plague and giardia. Cats, on the other hand, are more sensitive than we are, so they will die more quickly from strep and plague than we will! This is why cats are "picky" about what they eat - their sensitive noses tell them that the food contains something bad for them.  Dogs, on the other hand, are geared for survival and can actually be nourished by eating rotten flesh and excrement!

Your MIL is relying on old-fashioned information. An example of this is the old theory that horses carried equine encephalitis (sleeping sickness) and gave it to humans.  Science later discovered that the virus is carried by ducks and transmitted by mosquitoes. The mosquitoes would bite the ducks then bite the horses and humans.  The horses got sick more quickly and violently than the humans so people assumed that since the horses got sick first, the horses were the cause.

Alley Cat Allies' website has some good information on the subject.  If your MIL is receptive, than you could share with her.  You might open the conversation by telling her that you appreciate that she looks out for the welfare of the family and that you have done research on the project.  Make her feel respected and loved so that she will be open-hearted and open-minded to you. You are a real treasure for her & I hope that she realizes that. :)

Cats are no more likely to carry diseases to humans than adult.

Actually birds are the conduit for a lot of disease.  Along with the encephalitis all influenza begins with birds.  The seasonal flu has went through another mammal, often pigs, and mutated into a form that is communicable among humans.
