Rabies has spread from Florida up all the way through to North Georgia. That scares me to death! All of my cats have had their shots, but it still scares me. A child has even bitten by a rabid dog. Last I heard, though, he is okay. The latest one was a horse in Walker County. It was a tragic story. His name was Tonto. They showed pictures on the news of where he chewed and banged on the fence. In the end, he started hurting himself. They ended up putting him to sleep. No matter where you live, you need to get your cats their rabies shots. I think they have made it a law in Georgia. I'm not sure about other places. But it is very important.
