We've got a small insulated Dogloo out, filled with straw that at least one kittie in our TNR group is using with some regularity (although we never see it - just the still-warm indentation or two -so someones happy!). Cold weather's coming up fast then I'd like to think about - and so I want to add an outdoor-rated electric warming pad under the straw I used one years before in a more typical (rectangular sized) dog house, but I gave all of that away in a foolish moment :( So now we have the rounded Dogloo -----what I'm seeing is expensive, but my bigger problem I'm worried about is fit. Anyone had luck with anyone, any size, brand etc. in particular?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!,

Kittychick

Are you referring to the K&H pads? I think all you'd have to do is check the specs - measure the diameter, and make sure you order the right one. :dk: If you order it from some place like Amazon, you'd be able to return it if you bought one that didn't fit. You would have to pay the return shipping... but maybe just contact K&H prior to purchasing it? :dk:

I had an XL dog igloo two winters ago that a friend game me.  It was huge.  I only used the microwave discs in it since the opening was so large that the rain/snow often got inside.  I guess you could get one of the K&H heat pads and put it way in the back.  I have both the soft side heat pad and the harder one.  The harder one is longer and even though it's hard plastic my cats really like it.  The softer one is raised a bit.  Both heat very well and the covered pads are easy to clean.
