Cat gave birth-URGENT QUESTIONS!!!

ok help! my cat (jessie a second year mommy) just had one kitten last night. we still feel babys inside her but...she only had one baby last night at 12:08 am? and its er..7:18am please and she delivered the plesenta as says my mom the bavy was fully developed and grown. please help me i am worried :/ please reply back! she also shows signs of abandoning the baby he is black and white and took a little to have for her because he was big oh please help!

Kateland.  Was the baby alive and is nursing?  Is catmom OK, calm and contend?   If catmom is contend and happy, no problems with her as you can see,  you can wait for the next babies to come.  It is not unusual with pauses. Several hours, or even several days...

But if the mom seems in difficulties, perhaps breathing heavily, unhappy - phone a vet for advices.  The vet will know what follow up questions to give.

You must also be ready to rush her in.

If she has long or difficult delivery with second kitten, contact the vet.

Perhaps best you do already now phone a vet. Better to have a vets guidance than from a forum.
