Just adopted a shelter kitten two days ago. Yesterday, I noticed her anus seems "puffy" and protrudes a little. It is not red and doesn't appear irritated.
She has had nice firm stools and eats dry food, grain free. The shelter said she had been eating grain free so that's what I continued, not sure if I will keep her on that.
She will be going to the vet in a few days for a check up, but in the mean time, should I be concerned? The shelter did say she was dewormed. She has also been spayed. Is almost 3 months old.
She is very active, eating well and drinking water. Very affectionate.
Should I feed her some wet food in the meantime?
Thanks for input,
Kris
