Help. My kitten just ate Trifexis!!

One of my ten week old kittens just ate my dog's Trifexis. He is around 3-4 lbs., and my dog is a small 6 lb. Maltese. I was cleaning her face after she ate, and I had the med laying beside me on the couch. He ate the thing before I could stop him. He just got Advantage II put on him yesterday, and I know Trifexis isn't approved for cats. This just happened 5 minutes ago. What do I need to do?

Please help!

Do you have an emergency vet clinic that you can call?  I know they are expensive but you need to call them and find out what you are dealing with. 

Okay I did call the emergency vet just now. He said that he should be fine because while Trifexis isn't approved for cats that the two ingredients that make it up is safe in cats. He said it is hard to induce vomiting in a kitten at home so I could bring him in for them to do it. He said it would worm him though as well.

Tiger is going to be the life of me. I cannot get my dog to eat the thing with ease, and he laps it up like it isn't nothing,

I second calling the emergency vet's. Maybe they can give you some answers over the phone, but do call asap to be on the safe side for sure.

He just threw up so I guess that is a good thing. I called the vet again, and they said that was normal. I saw no signs of the pill though just food.
