At 9 weeks there's really no way you can over-feed her. Do give frequent meals though. When Bagel was 9 weeks old he ate 5/6 meals a day. Sometimes, he ate around 8 or 10 ounces of (raw) food!

Are you feeting the Fancy Feast kitten food?  I don't know what "64" is, but at 9 weeks, I would be getting the kitten food vs. adult food.   And I would definitely feed her as much as she wants, several times a day

Although are you sure she is only 9 weeks?  2.7 lbs seems pretty big for only 9 weeks.  'Course, maybe not.  It's been YEARS since I've had kittens around here

64 is her name; it's the interstate where they found her.

Just a question that may help the OP as well: some canned food has feeding instructions for cats and kittens. I thought I saw that on Fancy Feast classics but I could be totally mistaken. Are those OK if they have kitten feeding guidelines on them?

My youngest were 8 months at that point, maybe that's why they were OK.

I believe as long as her diet has high protein its good. I feed my 9week old kitten a mixture of kitten and adult cat food.

I would think if it has feeding guidelines on it for kittens, it would be ok
.  Certainly for an 8 month old feeding an adult food is ok, according to my Vet, but for a 9 week old, they need those extra goodies that are in kitten food (calories, fat, etc. that isn't normally in adult food)
