My cat has been acting different the past 2 days, very lethargic; hasn't moved off my bed to eat or go to the bathroom. She normally loves cat snacks and won't eat or drink anything when I try by putting it on my finger. Her eyes r like glossy and not all the way open. I'm questioning whether to bring her to the emergency room. The fees are so crazy expensive but I would be devastated if anything was to happen to her. Idk what to do

She needs to eat even if that means syringe feeding her.  I know emergency vets are expensive but if it is possible to pay for it I would take her.

This sounds like an emergency. Does your regular vet have emergency hours? Or maybe you can look into care credit? But she definitely needs to see someone soon.

I will try syringe feeding her, thank u Denice. I called my vets emergency hours and they weren't any help and said they would need to see her to do anything. I called somewhere else and they said she might b constipated and I went and bought this stuff u put on their paw cuz they don't like anything on their paw but she won't even lick it. she is wobbling a little tiny bit when she walks. She finally just went to the bathroom and it was a couple small balls of elimination peaches08

Cats can develop a fatal condition called hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver disease) with 24-48 hours of not eating. She's not eating for a reason, so she really needs to see a vet so that they can help you figure out why she's lethargic and not eating. Please don't wait. People have lost their cats because they waited too long.

I would get her to the vet ASAP.  I think it's more than constipation.

When cats stop eating, time is of the essence.

If not too far gone, I find they will eat meat flavored baby food off of your finger.  If not even that, they are deathly sick.  That is my test anyway.
