Our littlest babies

Here are the newest additions to our family. Popcorn and Puffin. We keep the cats away from them most of the time. Our oldest cat doesn't care about them and just gets annoyed if they come out in their ball. My younget cat has been scared of them ever since Popcorn (the tan one) came after her and crashed into her with the exercise ball. First time I've seen a cat run away from a mouse. lol

Are they mice or hamsters?

Bigperm20, they are mice we rescued from the humane society. Apparently a couple thought it would be fun to breed mice, but they didn't realize how many babies mice had, or how often. So they dropped the whole clan off at the shelter. They had close to twenty and all of them were adopted.
