My cat is getting ready to grow another pair of ears? balding issue....

hello all, hailing from the holy land.

my cat is about 1YO, male, neutered, indoor cat.

recently I've noticed 2 small bald spots between his ears, on top of head.

No scabbing, doesn't seem to be scratching the top of his head, although he loves to rub his cheeks on things.

Any ideas?

Welcome to TCS!  Your kitty is very handsome!  My first thought was some kind of allergy or scratching.  Have you taken him to the vet?  It might be something that needs to be addressed by a vet.

Those spots look pretty symmetrical. Is he rubbing his head consistently against something? Any fleas or other insects? My biggest concern would be that it is the start of ringworm. I can't tell if it's scaly at all though. Your best bet would be to get a vet to check it out.
