September Picture of the Month: Peeking Cats

All of these are great !    They have all made me smile, and some have made me look harder than others to find the hiding kitty, but they all capture the spirit of the kitty.

Here's Archer peeking over his paw  He actually loves to play peek-a-boo, but normally I have to be the one to hide & peek!  He gets so excited...it's almost like he really thinks I've disappeared for a minute  Guess he wanted to try it out for himself to see if I'd be fooled...of course I played along

Oh my this is going to be tough to pick just one! Can we have multiple winners? 

Our Nova as a kitten on his trip home with us. He was so tiny and fell in love with my husband right then.

Blaze as a kitten, he loves the computer!!! 

Amazing subject choice!  Even better photos everyone - and we're not even finished yet.  Oh boy, this is gonna be a hard one to decide on.        

I must be blind because I can't find her anywhere. I never was good at I spy or Where's Waldo books either. lol

You have to look for her, but my Turtle is peeking out from one of these shelves. She's a great hider, which is why one of her nicknames is Peekers!

I am so chuffed with myself. I love things like Where's Waldo/Wally, etc and  it took me a while to search her out and wasn't 100% sure, but I found her!  Great little hunter - stalker you've got there. Looks like watching your children is one of her favourite spots. Does she think they'd taste nice or is she spying for you?      

MServant, I don't have any human children. I do, however, have 7 other furry children, other than Miss Turtle in the photo. I think she was hiding from the others. She is the smallest, youngest and newest member of my family, and when I brought her home, the other kitties were NOT very nice to her. She loves shelves, my shoe organizer on the top shelf of my closet, and under the covers with me. She was very new to my family when that picture was taken, so I think she was finally getting a moment's rest from the other 7 stalkers in my group! ;-)

Poor thing to have such mean fur mates that she has to be so good at hiding!  I too have piles of cuddly 'things' (& fur babies only) in my home but the toys are less tidy so my cats have never managed to burrow themselves in like Miss Turtle. I'm now thinking perhaps Mouse would prefer it if I put them all in a pile in the corner of one of my rooms so he could hide in among them too - great spot to spy on his territory and make sure it's safe!

I finally found her! I swear I started at that picture for at least 5 minutes! That's a great one. She's a really good hider. LOL

Sometimes when I come home, she likes to play hide and seek. She makes my humdrum day so much better. It's like coming home to Christmas morning!

Goldy peeking through the lace curtains after shredding them. Er, pardon me, after somebody else shredded them. Obviously. She's just too innocent.

Went crazy looking all over the house for her, when Phantom suddenly popped out from the rolled up rug I had in the storage room ...
