my name is Barbara I am from Poquoson viginia I just wanted to introduce my self to the group I am the mom of five ferel cats who I rescued and took them in my home so they would get regular meals and a safe place for shelter.  I have 4 girls and one boy.  they all have the same mother and father but they are from different litters.  My boy cat booboo  and his mom moma cat are the first ones I took in.  then moma cat had another litter three girls name cassie,sadie and blackie .  I love all five of them   I felt so sorry for them that they had to find their own food and shelter.  I wanted them to feel safe and loved .  they are so cute they come into the house or porch whichever they choose mostly the house they are not no dummies.  I contacted petta to see if they were able to help me with the cost and they gave a discount package for feral cats and I had all of them fixed and shots.  We  have big problems with ferel cats In the city where I live. I have friend and she has just opened a cat sanctuary  for home less and ferel cats .  I am going to start going there to volunteer my services.  now my brood at home are just like family  and they give me so much love and companionship I could not imagine how my life would be without them

Hello and welcome to the site.  Congratulations on your little family, you have done so well to entice them all in to your house, they must trust you lots even after their trips to the vet.  I look forward to hearing about them, and hope you will be able to post some photos of them soon so we can all see what they look like.  Thank you for taking care of your furever home cats and now looking to give even more of your time at your friend's sanctuary.  I only serve one cat just now but would love more.
