I doubt a cold would cause this.  You need to get her to the vet to have this looked at as well as the cold.

What's the status of the wound now?  I can't tell exactly from the picture where it is.  Did you get her to a Vet to get the wound checked out?  Did you at least get it cleaned up so you could see how bad it is, what  may have caused it, etc.?

Is she an indoor only cat, could she have gotten in a fight with another cat, gotten caught in a trap, got hit by a car?  Just wondering because almost a full day has passed between you first post and your last post, but no mention has been made of the wound, just the cold

Did you take her to the vet?  Still think that's your best option.
If those are puncture wounds, they could easily abscess, and then you've got serious problems.  It's really so hard to tell by the pictures what's going on, and  sometimes even though a wound appears to be healing, if it's deeper than you think, the top heals and underneath things may be brewing

I agree. Even though cats get along, something could have triggered a fight. I also think she needs to be checked out by the vet. It's hard to really tell by the picture, but it does look like punctures from bites, or scratches. She may need a round of antibiotics, just to be on the safe side.

A couple of years ago when Angel used to still go outside, he must have gotten in a fight, because he had a big scratch above one of his eyes,

(thank god not IN his eye!) & his tummy was all scratched up. No broken skin on the tummy, but lots of raised scratches.

(vet said was bunny kicks from the other cat).

She put him on some antibiotics just to be on the safe side, along w/ some Neo Poly antibiotic cream for above his eye.
