NEED HELP!!

Okay, I'm the one who wrote about my cat that's pregnant with her sibilings offspring. Today I notice she had his brownish foul smelling mucus substance coming from her vagina. I don't know what this is, I thought maybe it was the mucus plug. Am I right? Also- she is constantly digging around my house looking for a place to Jude so i put her in the bedroom I made up for her and left her there. What should I do. Is she nearing labor or is there something wrong? Is the mucus a bad sign? She isn't in any pain or acting weird besides what I've described. Please help.

I am not the best with pregnant cats but any foul smelling discharge is not good. It could be a sign of infection. I would call the vet and ask if she needs to be brought in.

It didnt smell terrible- it just was like a weird smell. Not rotten. I can't explain it but I know it wasn't pus or anything like that. I guess I'll call the vt just wanted to check here

That sounds like it's probably just the mucus plug .... was it sort of stringy and hanging out of her vagina ?  

 as long as it did not smell rotten ,  and she doesn't feel HOT,  and she is going around looking for  a nest,    I think she is just nearing labor.   From what i recall she would be due around now anyway.

But it certainly cannot hurt to talk to your vet,  and probably you have done that.

She had 4 beautiful healthy kittens last night! It only took 20 minutes too she did great!
