It seems like phantom pain or arthritis

I adopted my Lola in the beginning of this year. She is 4, and came already declawed. I was told the previous family had a child that developed allergies and they had to give her up. She is super sweet and content to cuddle and nap and have the occasional playtime with her toys.

I noticed a few months ago that she picks up her front paws when sitting sometimes. Its not all the time.

Since I have arthritis, I always have more aches during high humidity days and I noticed she picks up her paws and is not as active when it is humid.

I am pretty sure she has some sort of pain, or at least tingling since she was declawed, if not arthritis.

I am wondering how I can help her feel better. Her last vet visits was good, she was given a clean bill of health. When I mentioned the picking up the paws thing to her vet, she did say it was probably because she was declawed, but gave little interested in offering at-home care for her.

There has to be something I can do for her.

Any ideas??

My dear old Grey (RIP) did that with her declawed paws, and she later developed arthritis. What I did was make sure she had soft litter and I gave her Adequan injections to help her arthritic joints. I also fed MSM in her food. Maybe fish oil would help? I can't think of much more that can be done.

My first kitty came to me declawed as well.  She didn't lift her paws like your kitty does, but she wouldn't always put full weight on both paws when she sat either.  I gave her Cosequin once a day and made sure to use a litter that was gentle on her paws (not clay and nothing with large particles).  That seemed to help her.
