Hi I am new here

Hi just found this site. Hope to make some friends with cats. I am from New Jersey and my fiance and I adopted a shelter cat in April. If anyone would like to chat or get to know each other please let me know. I have many interests cats,crafts,reading,etc. Hope to make some new friends,learn more about cats. Thanks .

Thanks for the welcome. I have lots of pics. Have to learn the site first.LOL. He is a good boy but of course has his problems. His biggest problem is when I am petting him he is all sweet and purring then with no warning (no ears back or anything) he turns and scratches and bites me. He even draws blood. I wont hit him I never believed in that. So when he does it I blow in his face and he runs. He knows he did wrong. He waits 20 minutes then wants me to pet him again.lol. I think whoever had him before us might have hurt him. When we first got him he would throw up then cringe and hide. I pet him and told him I would never get made at him for getting sick. Also other times he cringes. He isnt sure how to play with toys and gets his nails stuck in everything. Whoever had him didnt treat him right or give him the love he deserves. I have had cats my whole life but havent had any in a quitw a few years so I am patient with him. He loves hi treats and we taught him if we hold the trat up and say TOUCHDOWN he jumps up with his paws raised to get his treat. LOL He totally has us wrapped around his paw. I will post pics when I get a chance. I hope I make some friends on here.
