Bump! Anyone else interested in exchanging Christmas cards??

I signed up!

I wish I could but I live in Israel. I'm sure we can get Christmas cards somewhere but posting all of them out of the country is a bit out of my price range. But I so love Christmas cards. And Christmas presents. We didn't celebrate it in England. We had Hanukkah. But at work we did.
There. Wasn't all that interesting.

I sent a PM opting out.  My back and knee have been bothering me a lot the last few weeks, and I still have to go out and do SS shopping and pick up a few gifts for a few friends.  So between that, work and my course, I have my hands full.  Plus I have to start cooking and freezing for Christmas.

I am signing up this sounds like a awesome idea.

Hi Everyone:

I have been speaking with one of the moderators, and in the interest of safety we are going to put some stipulations on the card exchange. You must be a member for at least 30 days, and have 10 or more posts. Of course, premium members are exempt...

This is just to keep things safe and fair.

I understand the safety concern as much as that sucks since I just joined and wouldn't meet you're 30 day deadline

If I'm not going to be allowed to exchange cards then that is very very disappointing. Not all of us are able to post all the time.

My main reason for joining was so I could exchange Christmas cards and I don't think it's fair to be left out.

I'm very hurt by this.

I'm thinking I have a few posts so if I do a few more then I'd qualify.right?

I already bought a lot of Christmas Cards antrispating the card exchange...does anyone else feel like they are being left out  afterall...the conditions didn't say all this when I joined

I'm still hoping that I make it....something like this is wonderful and I searched and searched until I found the right one The Cat Site....hoping I've done enough posts.

Please; go participate around the boards.  Post away in the questions of the day; let people get to know you.

Frankly; I wouldn't give my personal information out to people I barely know.  There are people out there looking to take advantage of others and that is a legitimate concern.  10 posts really is not many.  It certainly takes less time than filling out and mailing Christmas cards.

Agree. I joined in Sept, but I don't think I've been here long enough that people might feel comfortable with me yet. 10 posts + 30 days isn't bad at all.

I will be sending the list out Nov 17. If you have 10 posts by then, and have been a member for 30 days by then I will keep you on the list. Stormy, you meet those requirements......... so it's fine you're on the list.

As of this moment, we have 16 members participating. You still have time to get your names in, I will be sending out the list November 17 (one week from Monday) via PM.

Bumping this again just in case anyone else wants to join! I already got to work on my personal Christmas card list today I need to shop for some kitty-themed Christmas cards!

My cards went out yesterday, so you guys should be receiving them - I got a bit of over zealous and excited lol
