My 11 year old Krissy grew a mole??

My chubby 11 year old kitty Krissy has grown a couple of skin tag type moles around her neck in the last several years, no biggie.

Small, not a problem.

A while back it looked to me like she had been smacked next to her eye by my other pushy female Simone, who is always attempting to take over Krissy's top spot.

Then it healed, a few months later there it was again, and it's been this way for a few years.

Well it's here again and looks like it's a mole. I think she scratches it too because today it's red and looks like a scratch spot again.

It is right at the outer corner of her eye, on her fur but right next to her eye.

Should I regard this as usual?

I wonder by her scratching it if it itches....

It's small. I will add a pic if I can capture it well.

Anyone have thoughts or had this happen to one of yours before?

Here's some info on skin tags on cats. It sounds like they don't go away on their own though, so I'm not sure that's what you're seeing. http://www.vetinfo.com/skin-tags-on-cats.html  It would probably be best to get it checked out by a vet at her next check-up.

vball91 thank you for the link, I will read it now. I also re-read what I wrote, and I wasn't clear, I was mentioning that she has a couple of skin tags because I thought maybe in some way they might be related somehow (?)

The mole by her eye is def not a skin tag, it looks like a mole.

Hmm, could you try to take a picture of it? I don't think moles come and go though...
