Midnight's been in since the 15th August. He's vet checked, had his first shots, got his appointments for second shots,a nd combo test came back negative. The bath room is pretty small, and Matt barged in and met him anyway so that's out of the way. They get along quite well. I'm letting him out in the house only under my direct supervision right now.

A couple of concerns though.

One. He's a total suck, and likes to lap-sleep or curl up with Matt(resident cat) during the day. During the night he cries at being left alone for so long.

Two. His constant demands for Matt to play with him are getting on Matt's nerves-He's been an only cat for over a year now and is not accustomed to having his tail pounced!

I'm wondering if it might be good for kitten if we moved him to my son's room...it's bigger, and if her get's lonely, he could curl up in the bed(assuming he isn't badly behaved and wakes him up of course)

I think that's a good idea as long as your son is okay with it and is careful with him. I'm not sure what you can do about Midnight's normal kittenish antics. I think Matt will let him know when he's had enough.

I think I'll just have to limit Matt's exposure to him until he's developed some patience lol :) He's still recovering from the URI he had last week, so he's not quite as laid back and tolerant as usual.

My son wants kitten in his room, has from the start...but he owns army men and marbles so there's a top to bottom clean-up required before I can let the baby go in there unsupervised. Plus baby came in with fleas and worms, which I DIDN'T want in the mattress  and bedding. So I started him in the bathroom, where I could sterilize floors and such.
