Volunteer Opportunities

I found a great website for volunteer opportunities. You can do a search for listings in your area and they will match you up with those in need.
I already signed up to volunteer at the Museum of Discovery and Science on 10/17.
I also put my name in to 3 different animal rescue organizations. There is one organization that needs people to feed feral colonies. This sounds like a great experience for me as well as the kitties in need!

I got a call back from one of the places I signed up to volnteer with. Starting Tuesday I will be transporting cats from one location to another. The cats are in a colony of ferals that are being threatened by a man who plans to poison them. The organization is transporting the cats to a safe location.
I can't wait to see the kitties Tuesday!
