one sick kitty

Hi, I have a 12 week old kitty, he is usually extremely hyper and playful. Yesterday I noticed that he was sleeping a lot more than usual, and was not interested in playing no matter what we tried. He isnt throwing up or sneezing and does not have any extra discharge from his eyes or nose. But he clearly isnt feeling the greatest. He is eating normal but seems to be drinking a little less. Does this sound like a visit to the vet is needed?

Definitely call the vet.

If you haven't called the vet, I would encourage you to do so.  The only other thing I can think of is that your kitty is getting ready for a growth spurt.  When Tumbles was a kitten, he'd sorta be off his normal play schedule and lethargic for a day or two, then he'd grow like a weed.
