This is Coon, the beginning of last summer, (2012) he appeared in the yard and found out we were feeding a couple others and he decided to stay too.  So we named him Coon, because he looks like he's got Maine Coon in him.  Such a handsome and loving boy, he is neutered so obviously was someone's pet, I don't know how anyone could toss him out like yesterday's garbage, but he's found a loving refuge with us.

That made me about cry. While I was in school, we had all of these cats which none of them we bought. They were all strays. A female one looked like your cat showed up trying eat. I thought she was my other cat - Muffy that had gotten dirty. She had a collar on that appeared to be choking her, fur all matted so bad and declawed. We named her Maggie, she was such a sweet cat. All at once, if not more, we had like 13 or birds (roosters, chickens, hens, turkeys), 9 ferrets, 8 cats, 2 dogs and a Guinea Pig but now all that's left is 2 cats and a new kitten that showed up.

Thanks everyone, we have 3 strays that my daughter feeds every morning, but he is the only one that rarely leaves the porch.  He demands everyone give him a scratch on the head when we walk past him or he meows irritated....lol.  I think he believes he is now king of our porch :p
