I was advised to start a new thread so this one will be all about the kittens.......... As I mentioned on my old thread the kittens(we have named them Nylha and Bamboo) are sleeping more than I would like but seem to be gaining weight quite nicely I do not have a scale as of right now, next paycheck. I think I may be over feeding them? their bellies are very round. Im new to this so im wondering should I ve waking them to feed them or will they let me know? also I think they may be a little constipated. Again any advice will be welcome.

If they haven't poohed for a day or so, you may need to stimulate them.  A warm wet washcloth rubber over their bums (like mom's tongue) will help them move their bowels.

Take note that they may have worms (the round bellies are sometimes a sign of worms).  Have they been to the vet's for a check-up yet?  The vet can check their stool and suggest treatment if needed.

oh and she did poop by the way. can they get worms on their own? their mother didn't have them she quite honestly wasn't an outside cat just managed to get out once a couple months ago and hadn't seen any worms in her poop while cleaning the litter box.

The straining does sound like they may be constipated.  They sound like they need to be stimulated more often.  That's your job now, just like their mom.  She would do that after every meal, at the least.

You may be overfeeding them - not in total but at each feeding.  Try feeding them a little less but more often.  Kittens will nurse at least every two hours with mom.

With them being so young when mom died, they may not have worms.  No real way to tell without the vet checking their poop.

ok I have been stimulating them after every feeding and I just took another look and after she pooped it doesn't look as swollen but does look raw like im maybe trying to hard to get her to go. is there anything I can do to help their stools to be a little softer they seem kind of like little hard balls when they come out.

And if the only way for them to get worms is nursing from her then they don't have them. they never nursed she left them right after she cleaned them up and never went back to them.

If the poop is like hard balls, its too hard. Tooth-paste is more wanted.

Try and dilute the kmr some more, it usually helps.  It may also be the answer to your suspiction of overfeeding.

Try also with another method of stimulation and cleaning: set in their bottom under running warmish water...

Be sure you dry out them afterwards with a nice towel, and there is no draugh, so they dont get chilled out.

This method is not only rather efficient, but also a remedicum to sore bottoms on kittens who are stimulated much.

I saw an old post by Catwoman707 who reminded about this classical but very usual solution.

You can perhaps borrow a scale from some neighbour?

Good luck!

I don't think there is any way they could have worms.   It's too bad they never did nurse though,  since they missed getting the antibodies from the colostrum.   so you will need to be even more careful about protecting from germs  since they have no immunity,  not even the little bit  kittens usually get from their mothers milk.

I agree with the advice about diluting the formula a little and see if that helps them poop.   You could also add vegetable oil to formula -- just about 1 drop per kitten per day at this age.
