I took in a feral kitten a little over a month ago and everything is going great. He has come out of hiding and hangs out in the room. He always want to play and have fun. He is eating and using the litter box like a normal kitten. The only other thing is that he doesn't let me touch him and runs when I get close. I understand he still is a little scared of me and that it takes time for him to fully warm up. I was just wonder if there was anything I could do to make him not as scared as me and allow me to touch and hold him?

Always approach him at his level.  Hold out your fist and let him come to you.  The fist looks like a cat's heading, asking for a head bump.

I've found that most kitties can't resist Gerber Stage 2 chicken baby food.  (Make sure you buy the kind that's just chicken and water - no onions).  Hold a little bit on a spoon and he will lick it off.  Do that for a bit, then try putting some on your fingertip.  He will be eating out of you hand soon.  Remember, this might take a week or more - don't rush it.  Let him set the pace.

The Baby food always works wonders!  I also suggest using a wand type toy.  After the cat is running around chasing it, you can begin to touch the wand lightly on the kitten.  This will get him used to touch.  As time goes by you can move the wand further away from you and bring your hand in its place.  My feral started off very afraid of the wand toy when it touched his body.  But after a few times, he began to really like it.  He would love it under his chin and on top of his head.  After a few weeks (my feral was over a year old) my hand lightly touched him.  He had no idea it was my hand and not the wand.  That was all she wrote as from that moment on, he could no longer resist being pet.

You will get there.  It just takes time and patience.  It so awesome that you took in this little kitten!
