I made us some cooked breakfast this morning. We had bacon, eggs, toast with jelly, juice and coffee. I have had about two weeks of problems with diverticulosis and having to drink more than eat. I was deprived of food and I guess I am making up for it now.:lol3:
My husband and I have become addicted to Totinos frozen pizzas. He puts a little oil on the pan so the bottom gets nice and crispy and I make a salad to go with it. Yum! That's what we just had for lunch.
A whole mashed avocado with mayonnaise salt and pepper. A few chips - French fries - with mayonnaise and salt! And 1 corn on the cob with salt! And lashings of butter and OJ which is all I drink
We went down to Lowes last night to look at refrigerators. When we left I put my turn signal on to go home. Rick said, "You know, dear, we don't know how long Rita's is going to be open yet this year. Let's go there for gelati."
The last thing I ate was a small raspberry gelati with light vanilla ice cream.
I had company over for supper last night. I served them peppered ham, mashed potatoes with gluten free gravy, lima beans, field peas with small ears of corn cooked in, applesauce, pickled beets, biscuits, chocolate pudding with whipped cream. I ate some of all except the biscuits. They were not gluten free.:lol3:
I wanted to use up the peppers from the garden the other day so I made stuffed peppers. I wanted to make a lower carb version with no rice. For the filling I used ground turkey, hot turkey sausage, onions, pepper, garlic, fat free feta and some fat free cream cheese to make it a little creamy. They didn't come out bad and I had one for lunch.
