Making macaroni salad for our picnic this afternoon (made the cookies yesterday, just bar cookies: Caramel Crumb and Blueberry Crumb. All I need do is pack them up for the picnic. Same with the chicken. I made it yesterday, so will just have to do a quick reheat on the grill.)

Pick and freeze green beans this morning while Rick is at church

Vacuum living room and kitchen

Did my little session with a local charity shop, sorting and labeling stuff for sale.

Quick food shop to get something for tea (starving on my way home and needed 'proper' food not just ice cream)....

Did some preparation for work tomorrow and printed out some documents while Mouse kept them safe by sitting on them (at least he didn't eat any corners).....

Went for 3 mile walk to 'recover' from work.

Spent evening feeling sorry for myself about having to go to work.

Grocery shopping and Target

Mow the yard - didn't get it done yesterday as it would shower off and on most of the day. Just enough to make the grass wet, then stop. About the time the grass would start to dry, it would sprinkle again. Just enough to make the grass wet, then stop. All day. So I stayed inside and cleaned the house instead and did laundry.

Pick a color for the front door - the door needs to be painted again, but we can't agree on a color. We are choosing something. Tonight.

Mow the yard - didn't get it done yesterday as it would shower off and on most of the day. Just enough to make the grass wet, then stop. About the time the grass would start to dry, it would sprinkle again. Just enough to make the grass wet, then stop. All day. So I stayed inside and cleaned the house instead and did laundry.

Pick a color for the front door - the door needs to be painted again, but we can't agree on a color. We are choosing something. Tonight.

That worked out well.....not

We did manage to get to Lowes (but still haven't decided on a color), Target for our meds and to the grocery store. But til we got done with it, it was already after 7:00 and, boy, is it starting to get dark early. We got our walk in, and that was pretty much it for the night.

Someday, we'll get the yard mowed.

It's trash night, so clean out the litter boxes (and I need to clean out the fridge a bit)

Vacuum the living room and the kitchen

That's probably all I'll get done tonight.

Finally finished up the laundry from our vacation.
Made brats, German potato salad and a mixed salad for lunch.
Reorganized the pantry a bit, putting the stuff Mogli likes to rip open and eat or drink in plastic containers with clip-on lids. He ran down when I opened the cellar door last night and had already gotten a carton of UHT cream off a shelf and bitten into it by the time I made it down the stairs and into the pantry (30 - 40 seconds).

There's not much on my list for tonight.....

I do have two meetings, though, at work....one this morning and one this afternoon (I just want to get through the day in one piece at this point)

I should work on my parents' freezer as it's disorganized right now

And some laundry....I can work on laundry while I'm trying to organize the freezer

Rick is working OT Saturday morning, so we must run errands tonight: Target, Lowes, banking, Staples, etc.

The tomatoes in the basement are ready, so I'll roast them tonight. Normally, I don't peel them if roasting, but I think I'm going to try to roast them skinned tonight, just so I can dry the skins over night to see if I can make tomato powder. I'm really intrigued by that article in the newspaper about the powder.

I finally got Dan Brown's Inferno for my Nook (from the library), so when Rick goes to bed, I may stay up awhile to read....if I don't fall asleep first.
