I want to live in Tel Aviv. Apparently, avocados are plentiful and probably much less expensive than here

Anyhoo - we're having meatloaf, with baked potatoes and broccoli.

I am so tired, I opened a can of chicken noodle soup and heated it up in the microwave. I'm still hungry, but I'm too tired. So I'm heading to bed.

I'll think about eating again tomorrow.

I fried pork chops with a bit of salt, pepper and bbq sauce and potatoes with salt, pepper, onion and a little oil. Hubby and our daughter had peas too, but I don't like them.

I took a chicken breast out of the freezer last night, but not sure what I want to do with it....am thinking along the lines of oven-fried chicken. We have leftover cheese-scalloped potatoes and carrots from Sunday night's dinner to heat up with the chicken. My MIL gave us a bit of cranberry relish, too.

MAke cowboy cordon blue. I made this on up myself. Butterfly fillet your chicken breast. Coursely chop onions and bacon. Fry them together with whatever herbs you like. Can also add some peppers. Once its done put mixture inside the chicken breast add a little grated cheese and use toothpicks to wrap and seal it in thechicken breast. Crust some frenches french fried onions. Then whip one egg. Dip the chicken breast in the egg and then in the crushed frenches French fried onions. Then baked. DELISH!!!

I just wrote you a long comment and when I sent it it said I'd already submitted it! I didn't but can't we submit more than once?

Some leftover homemade chicken soup and crusty bread with butter and garlic. Perfect for a chilly drizzling night.

You should have had bread or toast and butter with the soup. We don't have tinned soup here.:'( only horrid powdered soups.

That sounds divine. I have a recipe for home made french fried onions.

Ooh what a meal I had tonight.
Eggs on toast, baked beans and an - can I hear it from you ladies? - AVOCADO! Now there's a surprise.

My ol'man isn't one to compliment often.
Sounds like my hubby. No matter how hard I try, he doesn't like anything I make. Last night, the potatoes with oil, onion, salt and pepper were a hit. It was so simple but he went back for seconds.

Tonight I had spaghetti with some canned sauce on it and home made garlic bread. Hubby had to go to Toronto with his mom at the last minute since his grandma just passed away. It was supposed to be grocery night, but I always have spaghetti in the cupboard. My 14 month old absolutely loves pasta so she was happy, but then I had to give her a bath because she's messy.

Stewball, I hope this explains what I mean by a thread.

For example if we take this site. We are currently in the Cat Lounge forum and the thread we are on is called "What's For Dinner". Other threads in this forum are "Thanksgiving" and "What's your Favorite ...? The Game"
So hopefully you understand what I mean by thread now.

I suppose it must be a British thing lol.

Oh my olman love my cooking. He just doesn't compliment m often unless its really good.
My daughter is about the same age as yours. Sept 1st. Scarlett. And she loves pasta too!
My condolences to your husband's family. We just lost my sister in law in the flooding here in Alberta. :(

Thank you. My daughter was born September 4. She wasn't due until November 15, but she's right on track with other 14 month olds.
