advantage multi for cats, a problem

I cannot find this sold anywhere! I got it from a vet but a tube by accident got damaged and I usually go to petsmart to pick up more but they dont sell it, and I tried online and no place sells this stuff! Then I notice this on the box "CAUTION:
Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian."

Was this banned recently and vets were supposed to stop using it? Cause nobody sells it otherwise and all other flea meds ARE sold everywhere.

As far as I know, Advantage Multi is a prescription drug, so you can only get it from your vet or buy it at a pharmacy with a prescription. There are other types of Advantage available without a prescription.

Yep, the Multi is available only through your vet. The formula is new enough that the patents are really strong.

Until some other company can deconstruct the molecules and re-construct them in a way that doesn't infringe on Bayer's patent, they are the sole supplier of the formula. I have used it on all the ladies, and I like it a lot. I was fortunate enough to be given some free samples by my vet. All she had were the small tubes, so to get enough for all my ladies, she gave me 9 of them.

U can get advocate multi which is the actually advantage multi made by Bayer but its called advocate in England. You can get it without a prescription online at petbucket.com...I have been using this monthly for the past year with my Vets blessing on my 3 indoor/outdoor cats. Im really happy with this product, no fleas no worms the price is Very reasonable.
