Hi all,

I had a cat to which I do not know how old but I have adopted since kitten age about 3 months ago. He from the size and looks is about 18-19 weeks old currently. And he is having a retained teeth - 4 of them. 2 upper 2 bottom. As the owner of this kitty, I cannot help but to worried about this condition as I found out that if I left it unattended it might affect the rest of my kitty life.

To my relieved, last two days my brother told me one of the tooth fell when he played with him. Well, the retained teeth only noticeable last week so its kinda new case. I wonder if anyone out there or rather HERE in this forum had this situation. As my previous experiences with my older cats, they happen to be in my home slightly older than this little guy as mention. So they had totally lost those retained teeth.

They should fall out by the time he's about 6 months old.  If not, the vet can remove them if needed.  I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Hi,

Just to updates the current kitty condition of retained teeth. Its all fallen.
But the process is painful though coz due to the discomfort my kitty experienced, he chewed on many stuff including my leg and the tooth came out on my sleeves and jeans. xD
