Any feral colonies near Rockledge?

Does anyone know of a Feral colony that would be open to new cats? a friend of mine just bought a house and it there are feral cats in the yard. I was hoping to find a safe place for them to go.

Wow - this is a tough one.  You might contact your local shelter or rescue groups.  They may have leads, although they are probably dealing with overflow, like a lot of rescues.

Have you thought about doing TNR (trap, neuter, return) in your yard?  If they are fixed, they are a lot less likely to misbehave - spraying, fighting, having kittens.  Its a lot of work but most shelters would simply euthanize these cats.  Think about it.  There is certainly a lot of info on how to do it here at TSC.
