My interest in this site is to try and find someone with knowledge or a remedy for my eldest cat Dexter .He's got IBS and this has been verified with 3 vets .None of the vets remedies have helped for longer than 3-5 days at the most .I was hoping someone would know something about this site https://www.vitalityscience.com/v/AllProducts/cat-diarrhea/feline-treatment.asp  . They say they guarantee it but it's very expensive for me since I'm disabled and on social security disability but if it works I'll still try it for my number one son ,lol . We have six animals 5 cats and a mini toy rat terrier . Anyway ,I'm worried about him so I'm putting it out there trying to help him and or get help for him .

I know people here have used it with success.  That doesn't mean it will help your cat, there simply isn't a one size fits all way of controlling this.  It is a legitimate company with legitimate products.

I need to ask you: how old is Dexter, how long has he been sick, what are the symptoms, and how did those vets verify their diagnosis to you?

Also.....what medications have been prescribed, how long have you used any of them?

Plus, what have you done about diet, which is all important with IBS?

What are you feeding now?

Dexter is 13 years young, still spry ,likes to play even with the IBS .All the vets have done x-rays and blood test to see and or rule out certain things . We've tried steroids for inflammation ,a product similar to pepto bismal 1/4 tablet at meals ,raw foods ,blue buffalo duck, and others ,straight raw like fresh dove . yogurts and probiotics . Everything seems to work for a few days then it's back again .I guess I'll try that formula from that site I asked about next unless theres a better suggestion .

We need you to be much more specific on his diet.  When you say Blue Buffalo Duck, are you talking about kibble?  Canned?  When you say raw, and dove, did you buy nutritionally complete raw meals, or did you shoot your own dove and just give him some breast meat, or what.  raw is pretty complicated when you first start off, and if you aren't buying the nutritionally complete commercially prepared meals, then it's possible he wasn't being fed right, which can be an issue too.  (when I say that, I mean you have to feed liver, bones, hopefully kidney, as well as what most of us would eat (breast, thigh (if we're talking chicken
))  And when you say probiotics, how long did you give them, and what kind?

Also, since IBS is apparently kind of stress related, do you have a Feliway Diffuser (or several) plugged in to try to keep him calm?  Are there other factors that seem to stress him out?  Have they talked about putting him on something to help calm him?
