Ebony

Ebony was 7 years old, she was a black domestic short haired beauty, i reared her from a kitten as her mother rejected her , Ebony wasn't a knee cat but see loved cuddles and loved me and i loved her.

Sadly on the 21st August 2013 a driver who was speeding knocked her down and killed her, she was a friendly cat and everyone loved her , i was out when this happened but my neighbour who also loved her comforted her in her arms as she passed away, i am grateful to my neighbour because at least Ebony knew she was in loving care in her final moments.

I am a Christian and believe Ebony is waiting for me heaven along my two other beautiful cats Biggles and Lolipop.

Ebony would love sitting on my bible , there's nothing better than sitting on the word of God xx

I miss Ebony so much we spent everyday together and night she slept on our bed and sometimes there just wasn't enough room for the three of us.

I'm so sorry for your loss, we too live by a busy street and have lost several cats (ours and ferals)  to those moronic speeders. They not only speed, they are texting and doing everything but watching the road. I just pray a child won't run out onto the road, losing our furbabies is bad enough. Please know we hurt with you, we all know how much it hurts to lose our loved ones. Ebony knew she was loved, my heart is breaking that you miss her so much. I wish there was something I could do or say to help you, but I know that nothing can help right now. Just know I'll be praying for you and Ebony, she'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. RIP beautiful Ebony!

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement i appreciate it so much, i was having a good day today until i was in the garden and i found Ebony's mousy, which is a life like looking mouse and she adored it so much she would toss it up in the air and enjoy playing with it , when i picked it up i just broke down i can see her now playing with it i loved her so much

These moments come and they catch us out, but your memory and vision of her is a happy and loved one which is precious.  Your photograph of her is beautiful and she reminds me of a very loving elderly cat called Whisper that I lived with many years ago.  Whisper inspired me to do a number of drawings of her - I still treasure these and have them hung on the walls of my home today.  I am sure Ebony's spirit will stay with you and watch over you all. Take care.    

I know how much you're hurting, missing your precious Ebony.  Raising her from a baby makes even more of a special bond between the two of you.  It's so sweet, she would sit on your Bible.  She is truly an angel.  May you find comfort knowing she's resting in God's loving arms.

that's beautiful thank you , I have put mousy in a pink satin trinket box which have my other cat Lollipop's whiskers in there along with Ebony's fur which I found on my bed , I have them in the arms of a crystal angel and mousy is now with them both , still miss both of them and still cry at times, both were different but both were beautiful x

thank you , yes she also loved being in prayer times and would roll round as the holy spirit was felt , she is with God xx
