Hello!
I have 2 kittens they are both about the same age. One female domestic shorthair named Peaches. And a male ragdoll named Mango.

Mango started sneezing about a month ago. But very few time maybe once a day we saw him sneezed, and looked it up online some say it is not very serious. But for the last 2 weeks or so he sneezed quiet often. But it is very randomly . Few times aday. Some day not at all. Some time 2-3 sneeze few minutes apart. Very very random we cant even tell if he is having a allergic reaction or not. At first we thought it was the clay litter so we changed to pine pellet. But it didnt fix the problem...
We are starting to get worry. Since Our other cat is not sneezing at all so we thought it is not a environment issue...
Anyone have any idea what might have cause this!?? By the way they are both in wet/raw/dry diet.
Thanks in advance.

It very well could be airborne allergens.  Do you notice he sneezes on days when the allergens are high?  I have one that sneezes every single time the weather changes.

I have two ragdolls, lovely cats, do you spray room freshers? Or have a new plug in? Spray perfume near him? Sometime this are make them sneeze so be cautious of this. I however would go for a check up at the vet to put you mind at rest x

I have no idea how to check for allergens. And we dont spray any air freshener either. I do use body mist once a day after shower but away from him. I also tried ot to use my body mist for a few days and he still sneeze so i dont think it is the cause. I set up a vet appoint for this week hopefully there is nothing wrong with him... Thanks for all the tips! :)

My kitty had a cold (and was hypothermic) when I adopted him at a young 5 weeks old. He would sneeze constantly it seemed. Needless to say, I spent a lot time and money taking him to the vet and nursing him back to health. Now he is healthy as can be but like any animal that breathes through lungs he will occasionally, sporadically sneeze. The funniest was when he was helping me cook and I was sprinkling black pepper just as he was going in for a sniff of the mixture. He sneezed so loud. Haha.

He is now two years old but throughout most of his first year he would sniff water and then sneeze before taking a drink. Such weird behavior but the vet said it was just him breathing a little water up his nose as he smelled it and that the water might have a funny smell to him. So I started using bottled water only (the big 98 cent jugs) and now he never sniffs his water so hard that he sneezes/snorts.

If it is just one sneeze every once in a while it could just be that he breathed in something that irritated temporarily. If his sneezing is more regular (which is sounds like it might be) then taking him to the vet is the best bet. He could have something as simple as a cold but with kitties, a cold can be bad if left untreated. Not to scare you but definitely get it checked out.

He could just have an allergy to something that is always around. Even dry food or litter can be a source of airborne allergies for kitty as they both produce dust particles. When it comes to our four-legged babies, I always say better to spend a few extra bucks getting it checked out early on than to have a really sick kitty later on.

A note: If you are the type, like myself, that worries about everything it would be a good idea to have a few vets that you can rely on for different things. I have an expensive but AMAZING, kitty-only veterinary office that I use for annual checkups, anything invasive and housing. I have a much cheaper and still good enough vet that I use when I need to pick up deworming meds or get a "make me stop worrying about this" checkup done. Then if the cheap vet says it is something more serious I can take him to my good doctor for a second opinion and treatment. But if the cheap vet doesn't seem concerned, I don't worry about it as much and just keep an eye on it using the suggested meds/treatments.
