Hi everyone!

My lovely little fur baby Yoko had a bad month with fleas so she's been on Advantage (I just administered her second dose). Today I noticed a worm where she was sitting. I'm in a new city with no vet and was just wondering, could this be because of the medication? (she had contracted worms and the medication was killing the them, hence the.. Expulsion for lack of better words?) She has always been an indoor cat but has recently been outside on a leash and she does enjoy munching on grass and getting into trouble so I assume this is where she got them.

This is not the first time she has had them but I am used to giving her a pill. The vet I spoke with told me this was not necessary.

Anyway, should I seek a second opinion or let the advantage do it's work? It's only been two days since her last dose and I'm afraid more medication will do more harm than good.

Anyone with any advice or similar experience would be greatly appreciated!

It's possible that it's tapeworms, which aren't taken care of by Advantage or Revolution.  Best to find a vet and get her checked out.
