I know there are a lot of people from Northern California and the Bay area, but are there any people on here from the Los Angeles, Orange County area? I would love to meet some of you, if there are.

That depends were you classify the county I live in. Some say its Southern CA, some say Central CA. I'm in SLO County halfway between LA County and the Bay Area. (It's about a 5 hour drive either direction if traffic is good.)

TTMom I'm originally from the San Diego area, Escondido, and my Snoopy cat is from San Diego also. However, all I wanted to do, all of my life was move up to Los Angeles, so as soon as I was old enough, I moved up here. I get down to San Diego, once in a while, I still have friends who live there. It would be cool if we could meet sometime.

greycat2-I think you probably live more in Central California.

I would LOVE to meet others from the site. Hope, I live in El Cajon but work in Carlsbad (I know, LONG drive). Maybe somewhere in between Carlsbad and where you are? I know you work strange hours, mine are 5am-2pm.

One of my best friends lives in Chula Vista. Maybe next time I go down to visit, we could get together. I work graveyard shifts, but I have Friday Night, and Saturday Nights off. They consider it Saturday and Sunday off, but usually, I have to sleep during the day on Sunday, so I don't consider that as a real off day.

I actually think it would be cool if all of us Southern Californians got together for a picnic or something. Lhezzza, probably lives the closest to me.

Sylent Rayne, I think Kern County is more Southern than Northern. I actually consider Southern California to be from Bakersfield or Santa Barbara on down, to be Southern California.

Hmmm, that's interesting I think that even about an hour or so north of Solvang and Santa Ynez is southern. I guess it depends on a lot of things on how you define southern california.

But then I'll drive to SF for one day. BONG!!!!!
